I expect flawless execution in medical and defense operations otherwise I treat ‘inconvenience or problem’ caused by new initiatives (with good intentions) as an opportunity for the bureaucrats to learn and improve.

PM requested citizens to give up gas subsidy if they can afford it, Aadhar linking helped Govt to directly credit the subsidy to bank account.
๐ฎ๐ณ Goods and Services Tax (GST)– know about advantages and disadvantages of GST. Accepted by all State Govts so expect long-term benefits from GST. It troubled us initially but Govt was quick to fix the issues. GST model draft started in 2000 but UPA failed to implement in 10 years. Appreciate NDA’s negotiation skills to convince all State leaders in short duration. GST came into effect on July 01, 2017.
๐ India Total External Debt – Under UPA 1 & 2, 2004 to 2014, debt increased from $100000 to $450000 millions. Under NDA, 2014 to 2018, external debt increased from $450000 to $530000 millions, this includes approx $65250 millions interest from 2014 to 2018. ๐ฎ๐ณ Make In India (MI-2) : It’s a Mission Impossible goal for India to transform Make In India to Made In India in just 5 years. IMO, It’s objective was to attract FDI inflows and shift focus to Made In India by 2022. About 40 mobile phone making plants have started since Modi announced Make in India in September 2014. These plants manufacture 20 million phones every month.
๐ฎ๐ณ Jan Dhan Yojana (JDY)– By 27 June 2018, over 31 crore (318 million) bank accounts were opened and over โน792 billion (US$12 billion) were deposited under the scheme.
โDemonetization- Unity within the Govt & Banks (good example for confidentiality), and the timing was commendable. Media was all prepared to cover US presidential election on Nov 8, 2016 but PM Modi made the media to cover India’s bold decision – demonitization. Indian banks’ gross non-performing assets (NPAs), or bad loans, stood at Rs 10.25 lakh crore as on 31 March 2018 . Jan Dhan Yojana, Demonetization and ~2% reduction on FD/RD interest rate helped banks to recover from the NPA crisis. It caused inconveniences to all citizens but someone has to suffer the loss to save the Banks. Banks are backbone of our country. A bold and smart decision by Govt to solve many problems. No Bharat Bandh for Demonetization – mistakes (inconveniences) with good intentions are forgivable with warnings.
๐ฎ๐ณ Atal Pension Yojana– guaranteed pension up to Rs.5000 is a good option for retirement life.
๐ฎ๐ณ Ayushman Bharat Yojana– 60:40 ratio between Central & State Govt, benefits 10 crore families, covers up to 5 lakh on health insurance. Approx 10,000 hospitals empanelled for this scheme.
๐ฎ๐ณ 100% village electrification– Electrification is a three-step process. The first is to extend the infrastructure to the village, the second is to connect the household and the third, the most challenging, is to ensure reliable and affordable supply on a sustained basis. โThe government has achieved the first goal, and the second goal is progressing“

Visionary\Transformative Leaders inspire citizens (youths) and sets the tone for national development. It’s not necessary for a PM to do all the hard work alone.
